Ni$$er- What??
Nas's upcoming CD, which might be entitled, I hate using this word, Ni$$er, is seriously under fire. Brooklyn assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries demands that the New York Comptroller withdraw the $84 million state pension fund invested in Universal Music Group and its parent company Vivendi, if they release the album with this name. Nas still isn't discussing stuff yet.
Nas says:
“It’s not ready for me to talk about. The album is done, basically, but …it’s a piece of art. It’s like talking to your child about sex. It’s hard, but it’s important…It’s probably going to make people uncomfortable. I don’t expect a lot of people to sell a record called ‘Nigger.’ Hopefully, people can open their minds up and lose some of their fear and deal with it. It’s just an album.”
That word will never be positive, please stop trying to make it main stream.
Hasta lasagna, I got my EyEs on yA!!
