Beyond the Lights
It was kind of scary, honest, and enlightening, and much more than the trailer, which I haven't seen in a long time. I'm not talking about I may have saw one thing that made me laugh out loud or made me think, the whole movie was like this. This movie did what all good movies do, tell me a story and make me feel some kind of way. I was trying to find more words to fit this movie, trying to describe it in a way that would get more people to the theatres, and keep movies like this alive, and then I found a quote that said it all. I found this quote that summarized every performance, every nuance, every character, something when if you read it, and saw the movie, or vice versa, it would resonate true.
"If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else."

Teresa and Joe BOTH get Prison Sentences
Teresa Giudice gets 15 months in prison, and will serve her sentence first, whereas Joe got 41 months in Prison and will serve his sentence after his wife to look after their 4 daughters. Which is good, in my opinion, because the kids will at least have one parent, and not be in jeopardy of going into foster care, which would have been unlikely anyway, because of the couple's family members. Whether or not Joe will be deported after he serves his prison sentence, is still up in the air.

Vampires Suck leaked
An HQ version of the new movie, "Vampires Suck", by the spoof duo of Friedberg and Seltzer was leaked online. The movie is supposed to come out in cinemas in the month of August. Based on their last film, Disaster movie, I wouldn't have seen it either way, although the trailer does look mildly funny. I saw twilight, well half before my cousin's movie, Hannah Montana 3-D concert let out, and I was thoroughly disappointed, but hey I was not paying $9.00 to see Hannah Montana, she's on t.v. 9 times a day! I know their writing style, so it will be verbatim Twilight, with a few jokes written in, a bad movie with jokes, is still a bad movie, anyway thanks to Mike for the screen captures, and as always...
Hasta Lasagna, I got my EyEs on YA!!
oh in the tradition of twilight, and to get more page views, gratuitous shirtlessness, if you don't know what gratuitous means... do a google search, for heaven's sake you're on the friggin internet!!

Paranormal Activity 2 October 22, 2010
So, if you haven't guessed, there will be a sequel to highly watched movie [experience] Paranormal Activity. The Director from Saw VI is attached to direct the movie, I guessed he figured, since this was the movie that beat my movie, probably should go with this, instead of Saw VII.
There are three concerns I have for a P.A.2:
1. Will it gain less at the box office, because of rising production costs. (When you make a profit of $150 million, your budget goes up, nokay)
2. How will people take the fact that the original writer and director, will not be doing either in the sequel. The hired writer, Michael R. Perry, has done mostly television work, and on many popular shows, he even wrote 2 episodes of Eerie Indiana, which you probably won't remember unless you were a 90's kid.
3. Will it be deemed as exciting and intimate as Paranormal Activity 1. After all word of mouth was a huge contributor to the films success, well that and they made a kick-butt movie.

Chris Brown Sentenced for Beating Rhianna
Today, August 25, 2009, Chris Brown was sentenced for beating Rhianna. He was ordered to serve 5 years of felony probation, 1 year of domestic violence counseling, and 6 months of community service.
Although many people keep saying for his involvement in the domestic violence case regarding Rhianna. Call it what it is, he was sentenced for beating her, assaulting her, and he did beat her, he hit her repeatedly.(http://www.everythingfabiolus.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/rhianna1.jpg) Maybe he will [never do it again], and hopefully he has learned his lesson, but I can't help but think about all those comments I've read from people defending him and his actions, and how many of them will grow up to be the next Robin Fenty or Anna Mae Bullock? (know your history)
Hasta Lasagna, I got my Eyes on YA!!
P.S. I did give a slight pause when she still wanted to be around him. I say slight because, it's not that uncommon for the victim to still sympathize with the batterer. And for some reason I feel like they will get back together... Oh well, no matter who you are, you can't tell grown people what to do.
